Engineering Women Faculty Members Excel at the University of Iowa

The College of Engineering is proud to include 15 exceptional women among its faculty members who excel nationally and internationally in teaching, and in several specialty and interdisciplinary research areas. They focus on research areas that include biomedical engineering, biotechnology, data management systems, software engineering, novel pulmonary drug delivery systems, medical image analysis, orthopedic biomechanics, atmospheric deposition of potentially toxic compounds into the Great Lakes, spine biomechanics, bioremediation, human factors, patient safety, nanoscience in geochemistry, nexus of signal processing, electromagnetic theory, coronary blood flow dynamics, heart valve mechanics, biomaterials, and retinal regeneration.
