Virtual Discussions

Tuesday, December 1, 2020, 9:00am to 10:00am

We will be hosting various virtual discussion opportunities each month that focus on a different topic and provide various medium options to engage. Available options include engaging with one of our listening, reading, or viewing groups. The topics include: ability, class/socioeconomic status, gender/gender expression, race, religion, and sexuality/sexual orientation.

Participants will need to review the specific podcast episode, article, or video clip prior to attending. All podcasts, articles, and videos can be listened to, read, or watched in under 60 minutes. Links to materials are included below. These sessions are eligible to be used in the BUILD Passport to get credit toward your BUILD certificate.

To register for courses, sign into UI Employee Self Service, click on "My Training" to be rerouted to Learning and Development. Click on “Enroll in Courses” tab and use search bars to find desired sessions by indicating if you are looking for a Listening Group, Reading Group, or Viewing Group.
