Student ambassadors are often the face of the College of Engineering to prospective students and other campus visitors. They are currently-enrolled engineering students who are selected through a highly-competitive process and work closely with Jane Dorman, Director of Admissions and First-Year Experience. The student ambassadors share their experiences with prospective students & their parents, give tours of the college, host Explore Engineering@Iowa programs, attend Hawkeye Visit Days, etc. The student ambassadors also serve as a resource for the transition and retention of current students.
