I’m a Unit Mentor for the GI Surgery, Trauma, and Transplant Unit at UIHC! I train volunteers on how they can be most helpful in the unit and also volunteer there myself.

Is there something else you'd like to tell us about yourself?

I come from a big family and I feel like that has been matched by coming to Iowa, I’m a part of something special here.

What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?

I love how large and full of opportunities the university is, and on the other end how small and communal the College of Engineering feels. I feel like I get the best of both worlds!

Who is your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Hornbuckle! She was my freshman seminar professor, and she was incredibly inspiring and encouraging to all of us in our first semester at Iowa!

What has been your favorite course?

I have really enjoyed Statics so far this semester, and I loved my Reading & Writing rhetoric class!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?

Volunteering, attending CAB Events, and spending time with friends!
