The Cedar Rapids Gazette featured Michael Abramoff, University of Iowa pioneering scientist, physician, and entrepreneur who is on a mission to end blindness with machine learning image analysis.

Abramoff is The Robert C. Watzke, MD Professor in Retina Research, professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, professor of electrical and computer  engineering, and professor of biomedical engineering.

Abramoff traveled to Washington, D.C., last week to brief congressional leaders on his work.
