The Daily Iowan recently featured the University of Iowa's Certificate in Naval Hydrodynamics.

Undergraduate students at the University of Iowa can earn the certificate by completing 18 semester hours of courses selected from a pool of courses focusing on fluid dynamics, experimental and numerical methods, and naval hydrodynamics.  

The learning objectives of the certificate are centered around a) providing students with a strong foundation in leadership, problem solving, and naval hydrodynamics, and b) developing knowledge of Navy science and technology challenges, and informing students of possible career paths in the Navy.
