Chemical Engineering students Ian Armstrong, Austin, Hangartner, and Catherine Suchanek have received the Jack Wehman Award in the SAChE Student Design Competition for Safety in Design.

The team will be honored November 8 at the AIChE Annual Student Conference in Salt Lake City, UT.

SAChE is an effort between the Center for Chemical Process Safety and universities to provide teaching materials and programs that incorporate elements of process safety with the education of undergraduate students and young practicing engineers.
