Civil and Environmental Engineering students reaped several awards April 30 at the 2014-2015 Hawkeye Awards ceremony.

The student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) received the Outstanding Student Organization award for its collaboration with the Campus Activities Board on the 2014 Corn Monument revival.

Stephanie Then received the Leadership Legacy award for her lasting contributions to ASCE, including her leadership with the Corn Monument and Concrete Canoe

projects, and as the student chapter president.

John Gross was nominated for the Leadership Legacy award, for his service contributions to Phi Kappa Psi.

Graduate student Matt Tarnoff received the Belinda L. Marner Outstanding GPSG Executive of the Year award for his work in student government.
