Engineering alumna Jessie Huisinga (BSE 2004 biomedical engineering), assistant professor, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science and senior scientist, Landon Center on Aging at the University of Kansas Medical Center, is featured in a YouTube video on "MS and Carepartnership."

Huisinga's research work focuses on understanding the underlying neuromotor deficits which contribute to mobility problems in pathological populations and to improve treatment protocols related to these movement disorders. She has presented at national and international meetings on topics related to gait and balance impairments in persons with Multiple Sclerosis.
