Three Engineering students have created a special "intersection" between technology and a cappella.

Adebayo Oladel-Ajose, a junior in biomedical engineering; Michael Rendleman, also a junior in biomedical engineering; and Nhan Tran-Phan, a junior in electrical

engineering, are members of Intersection: Men's A Cappella, a musical group based at the University of Iowa since 2004.

Currently, there are 13 members of the group from both graduate and undergraduate colleges.  Intersection sings pop culture favorites with occasional throwbacks to earlier eras and Christmas classics during the season.  Many of the songs are arranged by the group.

The group performs around the Iowa City area, on campus, and across the Midwest for paid performances and festivals.  Common venues range from paid private parties to non-profit events for other student oprganizations.
