A state internship program that provides grants to small and medium-sized companies in the advanced manufacturing, biosciences and information technology industries to help support its internship programs is now accepting applications for the Spring and Summer 2015.

The goal of the Iowa Student Internship Program is to help transition a company's interns to full-time employment in the state upon graduation.

The program is part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). It is a unique partnership of academia, industry and government all working together to link young Iowans to the state's unlimited career opportunities and help Iowa companies recruit its future workforce.

The deadline to apply for a Spring 2015 internship is December 30th and the deadline to apply for a Summer 2015 internship is April 30th
