The Fall Iowa Informatics (UI3) Showcase Symposium will be held November 11, 2017, in Iowa City, Iowa.

The conference will take place at the College of Public Health Building (CPHB) on the University of Iowa campus.

The event is organized by the University of Iowa Informatics Initiative (UI3) and other cross-campus partners, and provides an opportunity to network with the UI3 and Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs in Informatics affiliate members.  There currently are 28 College of Engineering faculty members affiliated with the Iowa Informatics Initiative.

The Informatics Showcase is designed to showcase ongoing informatics-related research performed by graduate students in various disciplines, educational and career opportunities in informatics. The symposium will focus on new directions in informatics research and involve talks from UI faculty and graduate students. It will also include an informatics fair and poster session reception.
