Forrest M. Holly, professor emeritus of civil and environmental engineering and faculty research engineer at IIHR--Hydroscience and Engineering, died May 22, 2017.  He was 71 years old.  He joined the University of Iowa in 1982, was a UI Faculty Scholar from 1985-1988, served a departmental executive officer of civil and environmental engineering from 1995-1999, was interim associate dean of the college in 1999, and served as associate dean of academic programs from 2002-2003.  He retired in 2003 from the University of Iowa.
