Ibrahim Ozbolat, assistant professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and co-director of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Group in the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design, is featured on bioprinting in Plastics Today, a major publication for the plastics industry that provides plastics processing professionals with high quality editorial, vendor-supplied information, and user-generated content.

The article, titled "Bioprinting comes alive (but not in the way you might imagine it)," covers Ozbolat's research at the UI on bioprinting blood vessels and pancreatic, bone, and cartilage tissue that is advancing that technology. He will share his expertise next month at the MD&M West exhibition and conference in Anaheim, CA, during a session titled, "The realities, myths, and future potential of bioprinting."
