M. L. (Suresh) Raghavan, Robert and Virginia Wheeler Faculty Fellow of Engineering, professor of biomedical engineering, and researcher at the Center for Computer-Aided Design and Iowa Institute for Biomedical Imaging, will be inducted as a Fellow in the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).

Raghavan is one of 1,500 esteemed individuals who have been inducted to AIMBE’s College of Fellows. AIMBE’s College consists of clinicians, industry professionals, academics and scientists, who have distinguished themselves through their contributions in research, industrial practice and/or education.

The AIMBE is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., representing 50,000 individuals and the top 2% of medical and biomedical engineers. In addition, AIMBE represents academic institutions, private industry, and professional engineering societies.
