Two University of Iowa alumni and their company have been recognized as business innovators, garnering a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 2018 list.

The Forbes annual list recognizes about 600 young entrepreneurs and innovators in more than 20 industries.

Dalton Shaull, 23, and Eric Pahl, 24, are co-founders of Iowa City-based HealthTech Solutions. The two created an app called TXP Chat that allows doctors to communicate efficiently and securely about organ donations to speed up the transplant process.

Shaull, CEO and a 2016 human physiology alumnus, brings six years of research and internship experience to the team in software, scientific research methodology, and employee management. Eric Pahl, CTO, is a 2015 biomedical engineering graduate, also earning a Technical Entrepreneurship Certificate. Pahl is currently studying health informatics in pursuit of a PhD in Spring 2020, at the University of Iowa.

Organizer, the original name of the company, took the $6,000 prize in the Storer Engineering Student Entrepreneurial Start-up Award Competition in 2016 (https://www.engineering.uiowa.edu/news/organizer-takes-6000-prize-storer-engineering-student-entrepreneurial-start-award-competition).
