The Corridor Business Journal has ranked Stanley Consultants, Inc., a long-time corporate partner of the UI College of Engineering, in its list of Largest Privately Held Companies for 2018.

Stanley Consultants was founded by Distinguished Engineering Alumni Academy member C. Maxwell Stanley and led later by his son Richard H. Stanley, also a member of the college's Distinguished Engineering Alumni Academy.

Stanley Consultants participates with the college on a broad cross-section of programs and activities, including co-ops internships, and full-time hiring; events; seminars and lectures, facilities (Stanley Hydraulics Laboratory and Stanley Auditorium); mentoring by employees, scholarships, etc.

The list is published by the Corridor Business Journal to celebrate companies that help lead the growth of Iowa's Creative Corridor. Corridor Business Journal serves the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City region's business community.
