July 2011: Mathews Jacob received the Research Scholar Grant from the American Cancer Society. This four year award funds the development of novel MR spectroscopic imaging pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms to improve glioma therapy planning and monitoring.

July 2011: Yue Hu's paper on majorize-minimize algorithms for matrix recovery is accepted in IEEE Trans. Image Processing. Congrats Yue !!

July 2011: Mathews Jacob received a new NSF award titled Adaptive signal representation for accelerated multidimensional imaging . The three year award funds the development of signal processing framework and efficient algorithms for accelerated MRI.

June 2011: Mathews Jacob's NIH R-21 grant on accelerated myo-cardiac perfusion MRI received a 1% score.

April 2011: Sajan Lingala's paper on accelerated dynamic MRI is published in IEEE Trans. Medical Imaging. Congrats Sajan !!

April 2011: Mathews Jacob has accepted a faculty position at the Dept of ECE and the Iowa Insititute of Biomedical Imaging at the University of Iowa. The group will be relocating to Iowa in August. His hire is part of the Aging Mind and Brain Initiative at the University of Iowa.
