Stephanie Rasing

Stephanie (Swanson) Rasing is a distinguished alumna of the College of Engineering at the University of Iowa, having graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. During her time at Iowa, Stephanie was not only a dedicated student, but also an accomplished athlete as a four-year letterwinner and member of the women's soccer team. One of the highlights of her educational experience at Iowa was participating in the VIPT senior design program which culminated with a post-graduation trip to present the design study with their counterparts at Université De Provence, Marseille, France.

Stephanie's commitment to her alma mater has remained steadfast since her graduation. She served on the eGOLD Board for six years, was involved as a mentor, and continues to support the University as an active member of the Iowa Letterwinners Advisory Committee, representing the women's soccer program and promoting alumni relations between former Letterwinners and the University.

Stephanie's professional career began during her time at the University of Iowa with summer internships for Alcoa and John Deere. Following graduation, she started working for John Deere Des Moines Works in the Engineering Development Rotation Program and later moved into a role as a Product Validation Engineer. In 2015, Stephanie moved from John Deere to Hendrickson, where she started as a Project Engineer in the Advanced Technology Group and later moved into a Project Engineer role with Hendrickson's Truck division. There she focused on the development and launch of the OPTIMAAX® lift axle & suspension system. Stephanie went on to roles within Program Management at Hendrickson Truck and recently moved to Hendrickson Bumper where she is a Program & Marketing Manager.

Stephanie remains dedicated to her profession and continued involvement with her alma mater and the College of Engineering.
