Abdel-Malek, Baek to Appear on EntreFest Panel

Karim Abdel-Malek, UI professor of biomedical engineering and director of the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design (CCAD), and Stephen Baek, UI assistant professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and researcher at CCAD, will participate in the "Emerging Tech in Business Panel" May 18 at EntreFest in Cedar Rapids, IA. The panel discussion will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Parlor City, 5 Seasons Room, 1125 3rd Street SE.

The two day conference is one of the largest celebrations of the Midwest’s entrepreneurial and innovation community, taking place in unique venues and settings and benefiting a variety of minds.
