David Cwiertny, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and associate faculty research engineer at IIHR--Hydroscience & Engineering, has been appointed editor-in-chief of Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology.

Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology brings together high quality research which focuses on all aspects of water science and technology, particularly water resources, security and sustainability. The journal aims to provide a comprehensive and relevant forum for the diverse communities working in areas associated with water research, engineering and technology. 

Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology covers new and developing areas of research in water technology, including measurement and analysis techniques, treatment plants, membranes & filters, desalination, purification and contaminant removal technologies.
