The College of Engineering took center stage March 27 at the University of Iowa Hawkeye Caucus at the State Capitol in Des Moines.  The event provided an opportunity for the college to showcase exemplary areas of engagement, research, and student involvement to state legislators, members of the executive branch, and various staff members at the capitol.Rep

Representing the college were Francisco Fidalgo, Sam McElwain, and Amanda Lasko, student members of the ASME Solar Car Team; Anna Dizack and Cher Carney, staff members of the National Advanced Driving Simulator; and Chelle Lehman, co-director of the UI's WiSE program, along with two teachers and four students from Alburnett, IA, school who are part of the Femineer program, administered by WiSE.
