Iowa Alumni Magazine recently asked 18 UI faculty, staff, and students to envision what’s to come in their fields decades from now.

Among those interviewed are five College of Engineering faculty researchers.  They are Dan McGehee, associate professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and director of the National Advanced Driving Simulator; Tom Schnell, professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and director of the Operator Performance Laboratory; Ali Salem, professor of pharmaceutical sciences and chemical and biochemical engineering; Kristan Sorrenson Worthington, assistant professor of biomedical engineering; and Karim Abdel-Malek, professor of biomedical engineering and director of the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design.
