A recent KGAN CBS2/FOX28 news report recently covered views from the National Advanced Diving Simulator on a AAA report from a survey in April that said fewer consumers trust autonomous vehicles.

In the story, Ashley McDonald, project manager of the Automated Vehicle Research Group at the National Advanced Driving Simulator indicated that "Automated vehicles have a lot of opportunity in who they can assist in the future." McDonald said drivers should still consider that autonomous cars could be safer than human control of the wheel.

McDonald manages and coordinates all components of the program’s Automotive Research and National Education Campaign, designed to educate American drivers about new advanced vehicle safety technologies.
