A “STEM Celebration of MLK,” celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr., will be held January 22 from 3:30-4:30 p.m., in the Penn State Room 337, Iowa Memorial Union.

Featured will be Dr. Dan Quinn, UI professor of chemistry, who will speak on "Personal Recollections of MLK."  Refreshments will be served at 3:30 p.m. with remarks at 4:00 p.m. 

The event is co-sponsored by the College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Department of Mathematics.
