Congratulations to Chemical and Biochemical Engineering professor Syed Mubeen on his recent Sponsored Research Agreement (SRA) between SunHydrogen, Inc. and The University of Iowa.  The main goal of the project is to develop nanomanufacturing science for the fabrication of high-efficient solar H2 generators. The project will involve clever use of top-down and bottom-up fabrication techniques to fabricate low-dimensional materials that could capture sunlight efficiently and utilize its energy to split water to produce H2 and O2. An outcome is to reveal the viability of the proposed materials and cell designs as commercial solar H2 generators.
